6/27/2023 1 Comment A Crooked Smile Is OkayLet me see your smile
It’s hard to be positive in a world of negativity. 95% of what comes into your mind throughout the day is negative. This can affect the way you may look at the world around you. Just smile. There are so many positive benefits of showing those pearly whites. I know it’s difficult to do in a world of negativity, but I promise it’s worth it. Whenever I smile, I immediately feel happy. And this really shows resilience in the face of adversity. Although I've been through what feels like 15 lives in the midst of one life as a kid, I still continue to show my pearly whites. Not to brag or anything, but I’ve only been to the dentist once! And the dentists were so happy to see I have beautiful teeth for someone who has only been there once. At work, someone tried to ask me to work for Colgate. But even if I had a crooked smile, I still would smile. This is the first thing people see when they look at me. And when my teeth are out and I’m smiling, it makes them feel warm about me and okay with approaching me. This is the most contagious sickness. It has more power than COVID. When one person smiles or laughs, everyone else does. Whenever I’m with my friends and we laugh and smile, everyone is laughing with us. I just want to spread this love and positivity throughout everyone. When I'm laughing, I’m not thinking about anything else, but trying to breathe because I’m dying of laughter. When you smile, there will be endorphins released promoting you to feel happy, relaxed and overall happy. Continue to manage your stress and enhance your mental clarity with your beautiful smile and positivity. Let me know how smiling makes you feel today? Thanks Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry

Navigating the challenges of starting on a self-development journey Self development has become extremely crucial for professional success. No matter what you do, you still will need to work on yourself harder than you work for someone else. Start the journey with excitement! Even with the challenges, you still have to take time to appreciate how fun the journey will be. I’m going to express some of the challenges I faced and provide insights on how I overcame them. Your challenges may be different than mine, but there will be a basic premise to this, so pay attention. One of the significant challenges I dealt with is the scarcity of role models who share similar backgrounds and experiences. I’m looking at the top and I can only name about two African American motivational speakers ranked extremely high. Eric Thomas and Les Brown. And both of them had to work their a** off to be successful. So this had me looking up to not only these two but Tony Robbins as a role model. To beat the best, you have to know what they do. I use the internet to swipe his habits and double his efforts. Another challenge I had to deal with recently is imposter syndrome. I felt like what gives me the right to charge anyone or talk to anyone about personal development. But I’ve been through the ringer and made it out. If I can help, I have to help. It doesn’t matter how established I am as the greatest motivational speaker ever. And it doesn’t matter who believes it. I believe it. So I have work to do. And then there’s the elephant in the room. Yes, I am Afro latino. But I’m still black so sometimes there are privileges we have to work harder for. They are still attainable but there’s always someone looking at the color of my skin and judging. I’m going to create opportunities for my race and create a Wall Street for everyone to be successful. While creating my business, I have faced many unique challenges. Challenges most people will give up on in the very beginning. It took a different type of grit from myself to want to be an entrepreneur. Among all of the challenges, seeking clarity was the most essential for me to drive success. I’m going to talk about what I went through to achieve my clarity and how to do it. And my newsletter shows regular tips and resources tailored to this entrepreneurial journey and the tips I went through to receive clarity. First, I had to define my purpose and vision. I clearly want to be the greatest motivational speaker ever. When I was growing up in the darkness of my family's past, I know speakers such as Tony Robbins and Eric Thomas inspired me to be something better than what I was. I always thought, “I could do that.” Next, I had to realize who I was going to talk to. Most people’s ideal target at first was them before they found the vehicle to get them to where they want to go. My demographic is young minority men who are struggling mentally and want to be better in the corporate world or the entrepreneurial world, but don’t know how to get there. I am giving them high income skills. After this was very important for me. This took years for me to do this. And that is to develop a product or service that goes with my niche. I offer my book and my newsletter for these professionals so far and a small Mastermind group too. And my brand identity came with this. I just had to be myself and my brand naturally came out. Creating clarity is very important in your business, and these few tips will help create this for you. But not only clarity in business, but clarity in your life. Do you wanna get that promotion? Do you wanna get that girl? It all comes down to the same tips. And the start is to subscribe to my newsletter. Click the link to subscribe. Today’s world is faster than ever. I often found myself juggling multiple aspirations. With social media, it is constantly throwing ideas at their viewers on different trends. The trend growing extreme popularity at the moment is the Home Depot selfie girl. This trend is reminding everyone that success isn’t solely defined by entrepreneurial ventures and unconventional career paths. It is essential to embrace the value of pursuing your dreams while maintaining a 9-5 job. The Home Depot selfie trend is showing aspiring entrepreneurs and women taking photos symbolizing their pursuit of unconventional paths. Don’t let this diminish the value of traditional employment. I’m here to tell you that it is okay to work a 9-5 job. It’s called the “Chicken Entrepreneur” approach. It’s when you wait until your side hustle makes twice as much as your 9-5 job and then you quit your 9-5. I love the idea of 9-5 jobs. Currently, I still work a 9-5 job. It provides financial stability and security while I build a strong foundation for my dreams. I use the income from my job to invest in personal growth, education and resources. Plus keep a roof over my head while I build up Winnerz Win LLC. Not to mention, my 9-5 job helped build skills and my network. Due to my job, I was able to put my selling abilities into practice and now put this into my second book. I was also able to meet some of my mentors and big business owners like the ones who run the company I work for. It also taught me work-life harmony. I’m able to learn how to maximize the time after work and even sometimes during work to focus on my dreams and help a business grow. I only get 4 hours max per day outside of work to be productive. It’s all about what I do with these four hours. There’s no need to be ashamed of your 9-5 job when you are working towards your true dreams. It’s a necessary step to success. Shout out where you work while you work towards your goals. Thanks, Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry 6/14/2023 0 Comments June 14th, 2023Challenge Conventional Wisdom with Cathy Woods
Cathy Woods is a prominent figure in the investment world who has gained attention for how unconventional she is to investing. Understanding the stock market can have serious financial gains. And no one really masters it, but there are those who start to understand patterns and go away from the norm. Cathy Woods buys undervalued stocks of companies that others often overlook and she achieves success from this. Her investment philosophy emphasizes the importance of going against the norm and challenging conventional wisdom. If everyone is going left, right might be the way to go. And we see these same examples with not only Cathy Woods, but Jesus from The Bible. Cathy takes positions that are in contrast to marketing trends. Most investors follow popular trends and go to overvalued and over saturated stocks. Cathy seeks out the opposite. Woods plays the long game for substantial returns. She has a deep understanding of her craft and takes her time doing tons of research so she can identify these undervalued opportunities. Cathy is able to teach us multiple lessons in her methodology of the stock market. And this is for one, going against the norm isn’t a bad thing. Only 1% of the world is extremely wealthy. This means 99% are not. If you want to understand how you are going to become successful you have to study the behaviors and habits of the 1% which leads me to my second point. Study and perfect your craft and keep digging so you can win the long game. You may lose right now by missing out on the clubs and the tough outfits, to win the long game of creating financial wealth for not only you, but your family decades down the line. Put a thumbs up below if you agree. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry 6/13/2023 0 Comments June 13th, 2023Employees are stealing from Target, Make sure your inner circle isn’t stealing from you
There’s no surprise that theft is a big problem in the retail industry. This theft leads to businesses losing tons of revenue by the end of each year. One of the nation’s largest retailers, Target, has faced this same problem coming from within the organization. This is another sign for us to be cautious of who we invite to be in our personal and professional circles. Be careful who you share your energy with. Because this could result in you hurting your own progress professionally and personally due to the leeches you have around you in your network. Target suffered from a huge blow financially due to several employees involved in systematic theft operations. The organization trusted people in leadership roles and on the floor to not only take care of their customers walking through the front door, but also to take care of the business as if it was their own. This revelation of theft shocked Target and their loyal customer base but highlights the idea of ensuring you know the integrity of those you let into your inner circle. Trust is what could make or break a personal or professional relationship. When you have this you can collaborate with others which will support your growth in any domain in your life. Trust is tricky and this incident reminds us of this. It is difficult to get, but very easy to break. It should not be granted as easily; it must be earned and constantly evaluated. Be careful who you invite in your circle. When allowing someone in your circle, you have to seriously evaluate how they take care of themselves. How could you expect or trust someone to be mindful of your energy and trust if they aren’t mindful of themselves? A lot of people don’t trust themselves. This is why they are in the same spot that they were in last year. This is another reminder of how sneaky human beings can be. But I’m also reminding you to stay close to those you do trust. Comment below who you trust. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry 6/12/2023 0 Comments June 12th, 2023Tesla dropped prices, but here’s why they have the range to do so
Surprisingly, Tesla recently announced a significant price drop in one of their newer models. Knowing how popular and costly, everyone is pretty excited about this sudden drop in price. It may even make someone consider purchasing a Tesla who thought it was out of their range before. It’s important to note even with price dropping, the product still isn’t going to be for everyone. When you are building a product or service with your business, remember that your product isn’t for everyone. Decide specifically who it is for, but also keep in mind if they are willing to buy, it’s for them too. Tesla had a specific goal and niche for the automotive industry. This goal is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transportation. But with the higher prices, Tesla has always been considered to be a luxury car. This created an obvious buying barrier for people who wanted one, but simply can’t afford it. When Tesla saw how much more money they were leaving on the table and to consider the needs of potential buyers, they lowered their prices making it more affordable. With changing this new model of cars to make them more affordable, Tesla hopes to reach a larger audience. People wanted Teslas, but were turned away because of the higher prices. They saw a need and provided it. But even with these lowered prices, it will still remain out of reach for a lot of people. This is an important thing to consider with your business. Tesla started off with a mission or goal and created products or services for a specific group. Next, they maximized their costs on this specific demographic of people who could afford it while fulfilling their ultimate mission. And finally, they are able to afford to offer lower costing products due to their earlier years of gaining so much revenue. Your product or service doesn’t have to be for everyone. Streaming services are dominating our entertainment industry. If you aren’t streaming, you are probably living under a rock. Netflix led the way with this, putting BlockBuster out of business when they first came out. The company changed their policy and doesn't allow users to share their password anymore. Netflix is only teaching a lesson that needs to be taught to others for a long time. You can’t rely on others for everything. Yes it builds a strong sense of connection which is needed in order for one to grow, but you also have to carry your own weight. I still have my mother’s Netflix and I’m assuming I’ll be signed out any day now. Honestly, Netflix’s suggestions on movies have gone down over the past few years. Including their selection on Netflix original shows. Either this or I really haven’t felt the need to watch TV like that. Netflix obviously has been doing this to protect their revenue stream and allow them to maximize their profits with every single customer. But it does teach a valuable lesson. Relying on others means you are subject to their decisions, limitations, and potentially missing out on rooms you should be in. Again, you should rely on the right people and control the environment you decide to place yourself in. But you should be able to carry your own weight. Yes, you have to go grab your own Netflix account, but also go invest in yourself too. A newsletter is a great start for this. A small investment that makes a big impact. And guess what? It’s cheaper than Netflix. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry |
