An old man 👴 had his hips grabbed by Bobby Brown 

Go to networking events ❗️ You have to put yourself out there for people to know who you are. Closed mouths don't get fed 😷.  We all know these basic sayings that if you don't speak up, nothing will happen.

It's the same thing with business 👨‍💼 . I know we're going more to this social media age, when people are always scrolling on their phone. But I could tell you this: DO NOT steer away from  the power 💪🏾 of live networking events and the value that they bring. Live networking events help you get offline publicity. Offline publicity helps you get noticed in your area, and when you're noticed in your area, that helps you grow to a whole other level 📶. 

Today, I actually went to a business networking event. And at the business, there was great vibes, great music, and great food (although I had eaten before I got there because I didn’t know if there would be food 🥘 or not). There were so many different people. I was the youngest one there because I’m ahead of my time 😂 and there was a man telling me stories of how he got the funk. He told me how when he was at a concert and said I would love this one (because Bobby Brown is African American) taught him how to get the funk by grabbing his hips and making him move in rhythm. 

My social battery 🪫 got a little low because this is only my second live networking event. But this was very fun to do. And despite the awkward story about giving him the funk, I was able to get 13 business cards, get a possible radio station slot, help another company with sales, and have two speaking gigs ❗️ Sheesh! You never know who you will meet.
