You’ve been too nice for too long. And when you are nice for that long, people start to walk all over you 🚶🏾♂️. They start to believe they can do anything they want to you. This isn’t anyone else’s fault but your own 🫵🏾. You are allowing people to walk all over you because you haven’t set any boundaries. This is the first step to killing your inner nice guy 🔪. I had this manager before tell me he wasn’t going to do certain things because he was just perfect at everything. For starters, he really wasn’t ❌. He’s decent at certain things when it comes to selling, but still falls short of his goals on most months. Secondly, nobody is perfect at anything. Including myself. When it comes to sales or life, I have a ton to learn 📚. No one has more to learn than me. But I am also a student. But with him I had to put my foot 🦶 down and we came up with a solution to how he was going to do it, but it was still getting done. And you don’t have to yell or be mean about it. You just let people know what your nonnegotiables are and they will help you succeed. What are some boundaries you are going to start setting for yourself this year? And how are you going to start setting them? For more tips on how to slay the inner nice guy, look below. Thanks,s Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry
