6/14/2023 0 Comments June 14th, 2023Challenge Conventional Wisdom with Cathy Woods
Cathy Woods is a prominent figure in the investment world who has gained attention for how unconventional she is to investing. Understanding the stock market can have serious financial gains. And no one really masters it, but there are those who start to understand patterns and go away from the norm. Cathy Woods buys undervalued stocks of companies that others often overlook and she achieves success from this. Her investment philosophy emphasizes the importance of going against the norm and challenging conventional wisdom. If everyone is going left, right might be the way to go. And we see these same examples with not only Cathy Woods, but Jesus from The Bible. Cathy takes positions that are in contrast to marketing trends. Most investors follow popular trends and go to overvalued and over saturated stocks. Cathy seeks out the opposite. Woods plays the long game for substantial returns. She has a deep understanding of her craft and takes her time doing tons of research so she can identify these undervalued opportunities. Cathy is able to teach us multiple lessons in her methodology of the stock market. And this is for one, going against the norm isn’t a bad thing. Only 1% of the world is extremely wealthy. This means 99% are not. If you want to understand how you are going to become successful you have to study the behaviors and habits of the 1% which leads me to my second point. Study and perfect your craft and keep digging so you can win the long game. You may lose right now by missing out on the clubs and the tough outfits, to win the long game of creating financial wealth for not only you, but your family decades down the line. Put a thumbs up below if you agree. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry

6/13/2023 0 Comments June 13th, 2023Employees are stealing from Target, Make sure your inner circle isn’t stealing from you
There’s no surprise that theft is a big problem in the retail industry. This theft leads to businesses losing tons of revenue by the end of each year. One of the nation’s largest retailers, Target, has faced this same problem coming from within the organization. This is another sign for us to be cautious of who we invite to be in our personal and professional circles. Be careful who you share your energy with. Because this could result in you hurting your own progress professionally and personally due to the leeches you have around you in your network. Target suffered from a huge blow financially due to several employees involved in systematic theft operations. The organization trusted people in leadership roles and on the floor to not only take care of their customers walking through the front door, but also to take care of the business as if it was their own. This revelation of theft shocked Target and their loyal customer base but highlights the idea of ensuring you know the integrity of those you let into your inner circle. Trust is what could make or break a personal or professional relationship. When you have this you can collaborate with others which will support your growth in any domain in your life. Trust is tricky and this incident reminds us of this. It is difficult to get, but very easy to break. It should not be granted as easily; it must be earned and constantly evaluated. Be careful who you invite in your circle. When allowing someone in your circle, you have to seriously evaluate how they take care of themselves. How could you expect or trust someone to be mindful of your energy and trust if they aren’t mindful of themselves? A lot of people don’t trust themselves. This is why they are in the same spot that they were in last year. This is another reminder of how sneaky human beings can be. But I’m also reminding you to stay close to those you do trust. Comment below who you trust. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry 6/12/2023 0 Comments June 12th, 2023Tesla dropped prices, but here’s why they have the range to do so
Surprisingly, Tesla recently announced a significant price drop in one of their newer models. Knowing how popular and costly, everyone is pretty excited about this sudden drop in price. It may even make someone consider purchasing a Tesla who thought it was out of their range before. It’s important to note even with price dropping, the product still isn’t going to be for everyone. When you are building a product or service with your business, remember that your product isn’t for everyone. Decide specifically who it is for, but also keep in mind if they are willing to buy, it’s for them too. Tesla had a specific goal and niche for the automotive industry. This goal is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transportation. But with the higher prices, Tesla has always been considered to be a luxury car. This created an obvious buying barrier for people who wanted one, but simply can’t afford it. When Tesla saw how much more money they were leaving on the table and to consider the needs of potential buyers, they lowered their prices making it more affordable. With changing this new model of cars to make them more affordable, Tesla hopes to reach a larger audience. People wanted Teslas, but were turned away because of the higher prices. They saw a need and provided it. But even with these lowered prices, it will still remain out of reach for a lot of people. This is an important thing to consider with your business. Tesla started off with a mission or goal and created products or services for a specific group. Next, they maximized their costs on this specific demographic of people who could afford it while fulfilling their ultimate mission. And finally, they are able to afford to offer lower costing products due to their earlier years of gaining so much revenue. Your product or service doesn’t have to be for everyone. Streaming services are dominating our entertainment industry. If you aren’t streaming, you are probably living under a rock. Netflix led the way with this, putting BlockBuster out of business when they first came out. The company changed their policy and doesn't allow users to share their password anymore. Netflix is only teaching a lesson that needs to be taught to others for a long time. You can’t rely on others for everything. Yes it builds a strong sense of connection which is needed in order for one to grow, but you also have to carry your own weight. I still have my mother’s Netflix and I’m assuming I’ll be signed out any day now. Honestly, Netflix’s suggestions on movies have gone down over the past few years. Including their selection on Netflix original shows. Either this or I really haven’t felt the need to watch TV like that. Netflix obviously has been doing this to protect their revenue stream and allow them to maximize their profits with every single customer. But it does teach a valuable lesson. Relying on others means you are subject to their decisions, limitations, and potentially missing out on rooms you should be in. Again, you should rely on the right people and control the environment you decide to place yourself in. But you should be able to carry your own weight. Yes, you have to go grab your own Netflix account, but also go invest in yourself too. A newsletter is a great start for this. A small investment that makes a big impact. And guess what? It’s cheaper than Netflix. Carlos “Loso2.0” Henry 6/5/2023 0 Comments June 05th, 2023Don’t let inflation be another excuse
Inflation is all everyone is talking about these days. From the interest fees in the housing market shooting up to everything just costing too much money. And jobs are offering more money than minimum wage, but it’s only evening out due to inflation. Stop using this as an excuse to why you can’t achieve your goals. During times of economic influxes, this is where the real entrepreneurs flourish. It’s either sink or swim. Which one are you choosing? There’s a shoe company called Keen who dropped the prices on their shoes by 5% across the board to make them more affordable for families. My company Winnerz Win has an affordable newsletter to teach you about some of the things these top marketers are learning for an affordable price of $10 per month. There’s no secret that A.I. is becoming the new future for us. It’s used on platforms to help with scheduling and content. Shoot, I even interviewed Michael Clark from Metrics Marketer LLC to talk about it. But there’s a limit to how we should use A.I. Literally, it could kill us. And no matter how many movies show it, we still find a way to abuse the use of it. An A.I. drone disobeyed a direct order and killed an operator and attacked the tower it was told not to. At a point, it starts to get a mind of its own. On I, Robot, the robots started to gain feelings. It was unfair because they had feelings, but they also had super strength and intelligence. Not to mention, they make humans dumber. Before we really had to rely on our own intelligence to do certain things. Now, a lot of us can’t even remember our mother’s phone number by heart. The key is to continue to study on your own. Don’t allow A.I. to take over and think for you. Thinkers are the ones who come out on top. They will never be able to outthink you if you don’t let them. Constantly become a student and don’t let the technology win. You constantly learn through:

With Memorial Day here we honor the people in the military who have lost their lives. But unfortunately, people just use it as another excuse to party 🎉 . The glizzy’s are out on the grill and you got those burgers firing up too. Before we get on the grill, I want you to take the time out to think about these questions for your goals. Really think about your goals:
Today, I was going through a slump. It’s okay. Even personal development gurus and coaches such as myself, still experience times when they aren’t feeling like themselves. Today was this day. I felt like I wasn’t achieving enough 😭. There are certain expectations that I set on myself that are so high, God can read them. And when I don’t accomplish these high expectations, I feel like the worst person in the world. But I had to sit back and talk about it. I realized I’m doing great. Financially, I’m not where I want to be just yet, but I’m doing very well off for someone my age. And not to compare to that, but also to compare to who I was a year ago 🏆. I need to focus on taking it one day at a time and looking at my goals in this sense. I answered these questions along with some others when setting my goals and got so much clarity on myself. Answer these questions before you stuff your mouth with a glizzy and figure out what you really want out of life 💯. And on the other hand, Happy Memorial Day. Say it back to me! Believe it or not, there is something stopping you from achieving your goals. When someone asks me this question, I like to say it’s because it’s just a matter of time. If you’re a winner like me, you are probably thinking the same thing 🙇🏾♂️. Let’s be honest, it’s more than this. There is something on your path stopping you from getting to where you need to be. And this could be a number of things. My problem is my poor self image 😶🌫️. Some people call it imposter syndrome. I started to get a lot more clarity for my business, but then realized I was missing an important component to my funnel. There were no sales calls. Isn’t it ironic, a guy with a career in sales, wasn’t getting any sales calls. It’s insane. But I was afraid to get on sales calls because my mind was thinking of what if it’s not enough. What if I can’t help this person? “80% of what we consume on a daily basis is negative.” - Zig Ziglar The next logical thing to overcome your fears is to face them head on. With this fear of sales calls for my business in mind, I decided to book as many sales calls as I could. Get on as many appointments as possible and see how I can help people ☎️. Sales is about seeing someone with a problem and being the solution to it. I’ll let you know how these go, but this is how I’m overcoming my poor self image. How are you going to overcome yours? Comment below what you can do to overcome your poor self image. 5/23/2023 0 Comments May 23rd, 2023Westbrook challenged my mindset 🧠
Start asking yourself the right questions. You speak to yourself on a daily basis regardless🙇🏾♂️. But how can you start asking yourself the right questions to change your future? First start with why❓. Why should you try? Why not? Why not you? And why not you now? Russell Westbrook created a whole brand about this. I love this brand❤️. Why not? You can achieve anything you want to achieve for life. But you have to challenge yourself. Why can’t I be the greatest motivational speaker ever? I can and will. But you have to challenge yourself by asking the right type of questions💭. Westbrook averaged a triple double in multiple seasons as a 6’3 point guard. He did what was deemed impossible. Westbrook broke records people would die to try and break. Asking the right type of questions is going to lead to you taking yourself to a whole other level. So start questioning why you can’t be whatever you put your mind to🧠. Comment below why not? |
